The Rain Water Harvesting Trench is installed across roads and at the base of flyover ramps. The trench is covered with perforated, precast RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) through which the rainwater flows and directly charges the groundwater table.
The trench also prevents stagnation of rainwater on the road, keeping the road surface safe and dry, thus preventing the spread of Malaria.
